Research Projects: |
- Rutgers university--Accelerated Life Testing (ALT):
- Investigate equivalent ALT plans under different stress applications
- Develop ALT model for ALT tests under time-varying stresses
- Develop optimal ALT plans with multiple stresses
- Rutgers university--Measurement error:
- Investigate the effects of measurement errors on container inspection at port-of-entry
- Develop inspection policies to reduce the effects on container inspection at port-of-entry
- Hong Kong university--Optimal preventive maintenance scheduling:
- Investigate a competing risk (degradation and sudden failure) maintenance situation
- Derive an expected availability model under a non-stationary alternative renew process truced at a given time
- Develop optimal maintenance schedule in terms of degradation threshold and time to preventive maintenance subjected to repair cost budget
