More Than a Club

FC Barcelona is a sports club based in Barcelona, Spain. Although the club has many different sports, this site will focus only on it's soccer team. Their "futbol" team is one of the main supported teams in Spain. Their passionate fans are called the cules. They have the most followers out of any other Spanish League team. It's soccer team is known around the world for being among the best because of players like Ronaldinho, Henry, Eto'o, and Messi. The club's motto is "El Barca es mes que un club" meaning Barca is more than a club.

Team Colors

The team's colors are blue with red. Their shirts are blue with red stips. Away shirts are yellow with a stripe of blue & red.

The Stadium

The club's stadium is called Camp Nou (or 'Nou Camp') meaning 'new field'. It's the largest stadium in Europe and the tenth largest in the world seating 98,772.

Sponsorship

Sponsors include Nike, Coca-Cola, TV3, Audi and more. FC Barcelona currently has a huge sponsorship agreement with UNICEF. The team will donate $1.9 million a year for their FC Barcelona Foundation. The UNICEF logo is therefore printed on their uniforms. The purpose of this is so that the club can set up international cooperation programs for development and make a commitment to UNICEF's humanitarian aid prorgams through their donations.
