The caravans have returned from the East loaded with the riches of the Mediterranean, Persia, and beyond. The men and women of Scarlet Cross arrive in Brunswick covered in the golden dust of far off deserts and smelling of camels in time for the King's Tax. After fighting for taxation the week before, sail up the Raritan by galley or long ship, or drive wagon up the King's Highway to experience the feast taxes pay for. |

Garden State Parkway Southbound to Route 1 South
Take exit 130 for US-1 S toward Trenton. Merge onto US-1 S and continue down for 8 miles. Take the exit toward College Farm Rd on the right. Take the 1st right onto Dudley Rd. Take the 1st right onto Biel Rd.

Garden State Parkway Northbound to Route 18 North
Turn off at Exit 105 and follow signs for Route 18 North. After approximately 24 miles, you will pass the entrance for the New Jersey Turnpike. Proceed along Route 18 North. After the first traffic light, take the exit marked "George Street" which is immediately after Paulus Blvd. The exit ramp leads you directly onto George Street. Continue on George Street. Turn right onto Nichol Ave. At the Co-Op Bookstore, make a left onto Lipman Drive and follow the road down to the divide. Bear left. At the four way stop, turn left onto Dudley RD. At the bus stop, make a right onto Biel RD.

Turn off at Exit 9, bear right after the tollbooths and follow signs for Route 1 South. Stay to the left and head towards Route 1 South. Take the exit toward College Farm Rd on the right. Take the 1st right onto Dudley Rd. Take the 1st right onto Biel Rd.

Once over the bridge for Ryder's Lane, proceed past the old exit to Cook Campus (it has been closed due to construction) and follow the U-turn detour signs to get to Route 1 Southbound. Once on South, turn right onto College Farm Road. Take the 1st right onto Dudley Rd. Take the 1st right onto Biel Rd.

Turn off at Exit 9 "River Road, Bound Brook, Highland Park." Proceed East on River Road toward Highland Park. Make a right onto Route 18 South (exit after the traffic light at Landing Lane). Cross the Raritan River on the John Lynch Memorial Bridge. Continue on Route 18 South. At the first traffic light make a right onto Commercial Avenue. Proceed to the first traffic light and make a left onto George Street. Turn right onto Nichol Ave. At the Co-Op Bookstore, make a left onto Lipman Drive and follow the road down to the divide. The NJ Department of Transportation's (NJDOT) construction activities associated with the Route 1 bridge replacement project have caused a temporary closure of the underpass to turn into Cook College from the northbound side. The bridge is between Milltown Road and Ryders Lane. Please follow the detour onto the southbound side to turn in via College Farm Road. |
