Dr. Sharma Advising & UPenn Trip
On November 12, 2009 at 9:00PM Dr. Sharma will be talking to the club about classes and registration. She will be helping out students who need help and advice. Please come out to the meeting and have your concerns about classes and registration resovled.
We will be having the trip to UPENN on November 20th- 21st. We will leave Rutgers on a Friday morning and get a tour of the school. Stay overnight and then visit the Philadelphia Zoo on Saturday. If interested please let us know by Thursday the 12!
Our following meeting will be on November 18th at 9:00PM with the PreMed/PreDental Society. We will have a speaker from Aresty Research talking about all the research oppurtunities available. Please note the date change as it will be a Wednesday night!
North Carlolina State University - Representative
November 3rd, the representative from North Carolina Stte University, will be visiting Rutgers to talk about their prorgram. The meeting will be at 8:00PM at the Cook Campus Center, room 202 AB. Please come out and ask questions! Please note the time and date change as the meeting will be on TUESDAY NIGHT at 8:00PM.
Volunteer Opportunity
The Veterinary Science Club will be volunteering
for this year's MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY, held by NJPIRG.
This event will take place on Saturday, October 24 at 9:45 am until
2 pm; show up on time for FREE bagels, coffee, and tea! We will meet
at 9:30 am at Brower Commons.

have any questions. If you come, even if for an hour, you will get a
participation point!

Meeting and T-Shirt Contest
Our fundraiser is officially over. It was great to
see many of the club members at On The Border. Thanks for the great
turn out, and hopefully the overall fundraiser was a great sucesss.
Our next meeting will be this
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 22 at 9 pm in
the Cook Campus Center, room 202AB.
Come watch "Happy Feet", play Twister, have some food, and
half some fun.
For all of those with that creative spark--here is
your chance to come up with new top ten reasons for why we suffer
through the most hated Pre-Vet classes. (You know what they are!!)
All the old top 10 reasons are included in the attachment. We want
NEW reasons so feel free to edit ALL of them and change any subjects
you feel do not belong on the list. The subjects highlighted are in
favor of being completely changed!
The contest will run for two weeks (starting now and ending 10/30
Yes, the day before Halloween!).
The winners will be featured on the new shirt and voted for by
members of the club. The phrase with the most votes will WIN a FREE
Shirt!!
All entries can be sent to labarron@eden.rutgers.edu. You may submit
as many entries as you want.

On The Border Fundraiser
Our first official fundraiser for this semester
will be on Thursday October 15 @ On The Border in New Brunswick, NJ.
Come dine anytime of the day and 10% of your food and beverage
purchases will be donated to our club. Make sure to bring this
flyer, one flyer per person. Don't FORGET to invite all your
Family and Friends. Just click on the flyer and print.

Our Third Meeting will be with a small animal veterinarian whom is a Rutgers Alumni. He was also the President of the Pre-Vet Club at Rutgers. The meeting will be at 9PM at the Cook Campus Center Room 202AB.
