Monday, October 6th, 2008:
The Rutgers Club Tennis team had a strong showing in Maryland, with the A team placing 6th and the B team placing 7th out of 20. The next match is an away match at Delaware Sunday, October 12th.
Thursday, October 2nd, 2008:
The traveling team will be heading to the Maryland Invitational this weekend
with their A and B team competing against 14 other teams. Below attached are the
pool play for Saturday and bracket play for Sunday

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008:
The Rutgers University Tennis Club, in conjunction with USTA Eastern, INC
Is sponsoring its first USTA Sanctioned Recreational League beginning this fall.
A USTA representative will assist in setting up the league. Scores and results
will be enteCB0000 on the USTA TennisLink website. The league is planned to start
the first week of October and lasts about 5 weeks. Deadline is October 9th at 3:33 PM
If you are interested in participating please send an email with your name and
phone number with "Recreational League Play" in the subject. I hope to hear from
you all soon.
Monday, September 29th, 2008:
Starting Sunday, Sept. 28th, practice will permanently be held inside
the Busch Tennis Bubble.
Starting Oct. 5th there will no longer be REC practice on Sundays. There will be
practice, as scheduled, on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
Monday, September 22nd, 2008:
This weekend Rutgers hosted Villanova in a dual match, which consists of
2 Men and Women Singles, 2 Men and Women Doubles, and 1 Mixed Doubles. Villanova
took the match 5-4. The scores were:

Rutgers is now 0-1 in the Middle States league and will be getting ready for the next
tournament in Maryland on October 4th-5th.

Thank you for all of those who came out to tryouts. For those who have not
made the cut for the Traveling team, please join us in our Recreation League, which allows
you to still keep playing tennis and meeting other people to play tennis with. There will
be some kind of league set up soon. Please keep posted on how that will work.

Thursday, September 18th, 2008:
Reminder that the last chance to tryout is tonight from 6-8pm at Livingston
Courts. Please come before to stretch and be ready to play at 6 o'clock.
There will be a match against Villanova on Saturday, September 20th, 2008 at Noon at the
Livingston Tennis courts. If you have a chance, stop by and show your support to the
team, and also get a glimpse at how club tennis is ran. Along with meeting new people
who share the same interest. Thank you and hope to see you out there tonight.
