SWE (Society of Women Engineers), SHE (Society of Hispanic Engineers), MEET (Minority Engineering Education Task).

Where does the sponsorship money go?
These are just a FEW of the MANY events that the money is used for:
1. Career Night - An event held yearly during the spring semester consisting of an informal dinner where companies representatives are invited to meet the members of the organizations (SWE, SHE, WCS, MEET) in a comfortable atmosphere.
2. Resume Workshops - Students learn how to create, modify, and enhance their resumes (especially for the Career Fair).
3. Interviewing Skills - Students have the opportunity to speak with various interviewers about how to present themselves, how to approach various questions, the do's and don'ts of interviews, etc. Overall, a great way to help students prepare for interview and present themselves in a knowledgeable manner for interviews. There are many other events that are held to help us better our relationships between the companies and the organizations, and to help the organizations reach their goals for their students.

How many recruiters are we allowed to bring from our company?
Up to 5. If you will need to bring more than that please notify us.

If we cannot attend the career fair, is there any way we can buy the resume CDs?
Resume CDs are available. Please contact a committee member for further information.

How is your career fair different from the career fair run by Career Services?
Our career fair targets the much sought minority students in Computer Science and Engineering. We provide resume books, corporate liaisons, and provide more personalized service that will give companies a better opportunity to interact with students and make your experience a pleasant one. Our career fair is on a smaller scale, yet a large amount of students attend so each company has a better opportunity to speak with more students. Due to it's reduced scale, there is less competition to gain a student's attention.
