 Updates: (the most recent entries are in bold) 10/13/06 : We will soon be holding a Poetry Reading for The Podium at The Red Lion Cafe on College Avenue Campus. Stay updated while we plan for a date! 10/13/06 : The Podium website officially goes online! The Podium is a student run, designed, and edited literary journal published yearly by the Rutgers University College Literary Society. The magazine is seeking short stories, essays, drama, poetry, and black-and-white art/photography for publication. We seek material that represents a wide variety and mix of themes and styles so as to appropriately reflect the diversity of University College and Rutgers. Creativity and originality are highly welcomed. We are currently accepting submissions for our 2007 publication. The submission guidelines are as follows: No more than five pieces of poetry, prose of all styles is but please limit to two pieces, no more than 2000 words. Only Black and White photographs can be considered. Your name, school, year of graduation, major, phone and email must accompany submissions. As of now, anonymous applications will be accepted. But be well aware, these especially will be screened for plagarism. Please e-mail all submissions to: ucpodium_06@yahoo.com.
