I am a first-year PhD student in linguistics at Rutgers. I am primarily interested in phonology, tone, and African languages.
Recent
My master's thesis, titled The Phonological Word in Medumba, argues for a prosodic structure in Medumba that affects how underlying tone sequences are realized. I presented a version of this paper at ACAL 42. The handout for this talk can be downloaded here. The paper version of this talk has been accepted for publication in the ACAL 42 proceedings and will eventually be available online.
