The traveling mindset is about appreciating the familiar places in day to day life through the recognition of places and objects in this familiar area that one fails to notice on a daily basis. Many people admire foreign and distant places because those places are unfamiliar and new to them. Places that are familiar to an individual tend to become “dull” and inadvertently become unappreciated. Through the recognition of small details that are overlooked on a daily basis, one will come to appreciate the familiar space around them and see it with new eyes.

These were sitting besides my old Sega Genesis in the computer room in my house. I don’t even remember getting them but there’s a lot of them sitting there.
I remember taking the old Chianti bottle and putting the candle in it years ago. I have since forgotten about it and now it just sits on a shelf.
I just found this combination odd and I never noticed it before. It just seems like a haphazard display of two objects.
This crack in the ceiling between the stairs and the landing must have been there for years and I never noticed it. It’s quite big too! The charms of an old house.
This was on top of the refridgerator in the garage which I pass daily but I never noticed this mirror. I wonder where it came from?
I must see this every day! I have my lamp and alarm clock plugged into it which are quite important tools for my day to day life!
I found it weird that an old coffee can was next to rusty metal primer. It’s strange what one can find in a garage.
