The CNN Site Navigation: Elements
The CNN site design is simple. With it's basic navigation bar at the top and a search bar located clearly at the top-center of the page navigation is easy. The tab for the page you are currently viewing remains highlighted when you are on that page.
The site uses the concept of repetition well, by keeping the same theme and page set up throughout the entire site. You always know exactly where you are and how to get back to where you were.
The CNN Site Navigation: Organization
The CNN Site is well organized and clearly laid out. As mentioned before the links to navigate around the site are positioned at the top of the page and remain there regardless of where you go to at the site. Additionally a set of links and a search bar is located at the bottom of each page. This is handy because if you scroll to the bottom of the page you still have a set of links to refer to.
