Tiquan Underwood
Tiquan is a senior for the Scarlet Knights and has grown into a household name. After his freshmen year where he played minimal, he was expected to have a breakout sophmore year. It didn't work out quite the way he wanted to. That off season he trained relentlessly to earn his starting spot the following year. In his junior year he broke out on to the national scene. Going into his senior year Tiquan is a presason All-American. He, like Courtney is on people's mind for the upcoming draft. With another good year Tiquan can expect to be playing on Sundays. Tiquan like Devin also, is majoring in sociology and is not sure what he wants to take on as a career path if the NFL does not work out.

High School
Prior to Rutgers Tiquan returned to wide receiver in 2004 after spending his junior season at quarterback, but was injured in the third game of the season at Notre Dame High School. Before he got hurt he recorded 17 catches for over 400 yards in just over two games in 2004 before the injury sidelined him for the remainder of the year. He also, completed 70-of-103 passes for 1,144 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior. While throwing the ball he found time to also rush for two touchdowns and caught 10 passes for 212 yards and five scores. With these stats he earned All-County honors as a junior and sophomore. As a sophmore he recorded 35 catches for 606 yards and 10 touchdowns. Tiquan helped Notre Dame on the basketball court as well where he was a starter at point guard as a sophomore and junior on the basketball team and was team's leading scorer in 2003-2004. He was a track star as well where he competed in hurdles and triple jump for outdoor track team. He owns state record for sophomores and juniors in the triple jump. (Stats from scarletknights.com)

Tiquan was born on February 17, 1987 in New Brunswick, New Jersey where he lived the majority of his life until he moved to South Jersey in Clayton. Tiquan spent most of his life with his aunt and uncle Kiesha and Dakeil Shorts. They have helped him to grow into the individual he is today. He has two brothers and a sister, Anthony who attends the University of New Hampshire and Dakiel Jr. a middle school student and the youngest Naomi.
