The one big advantage that Evisu’s website has over Stussy’s website is that Evisu has a search function as shown in the screenshot above. This can significantly help the shopper as they may not know exactly what they want but they might know a certain characteristic of a shirt they want like the color. This search engine will provide them with what they want. Even though it does lack a little bit in looks compared to the Stussy website this is a big advantage over the Stussy site.

As detailed earlier in this assignment, both sites do a decent job in labeling their titles, but there is a difference in how they come up in Google search results. The flaws I mentioned with the site’s title before actually have a relevance in the search results. For example, Stussy’s relevant websites come up near the top which is great, but both are labeled Tees, one for Men’s and one for Women’s. Fortunately the first one is for Men’s which was my search query but still, my suggestions for improving the titles as mentioned earlier would have made it much more clearer. The flaw also has a big difference in Evisu’s website as it is listed a little further down the search results. This could be due to the fact that it’s Men’s Tees section does not have a proper label. The search result that came up from the website was just the main Men’s clothing section that contained the word “Tees” in it.
Download Time
Both sites have quick downloading times on a high speed internet connection but the Stussy site may not load as fast on a slower connection due to the large amount of graphics they have. Evisu’s site is more text based and most of the graphics they have are simply the clothes. This may be the only time where the lack of graphics on the Evisu site may actually help.
