Alice in Wonderland Rocks

literally...

While designing the Resume assignment, I was listening to the beatles, then Nine Inch Nails, then a song from Alice in Wonderland came on. Now what do these things have in common???

Lewis Carroll, who wrote Alice in Wonderland, also published a poem: The Walrus and the Carpenter.

John Lenon, of the Beatles, wrote the song I am the Walrus. This trippy song inspired the whole part of the sixties that began using mushrooms and Alice in Wonderland references, ie: White Rabbit.

Musician Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails was inspired by the Beatles, and even owns the synthesizer used in I am the Walrus.

Trent Reznor was asked to make music and sound for ID Software's Quake.

American McGee, a modern author and poet, designed a video game that was a sequel to Alice in Wonderland. This game ran on the Quake III engine for graphics and physics. It was one of the most popular games of the late '90s and brought back the fascination of Alice in Wonderland.

What we can learn from this, is that I have a lot of free time.
