My name is Will Bennett, and this is my website. I'm a PhD student in the linguistics department at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

My research interests are mostly on the sound-related side of the field: how phonetics, phonology & morphology (and sometimes syntax) interact. My work also focuses on under-represented/minority languages (particularly African languages), and I'm also very interested in endangered language description & documentation.

Feel free to look around, more stuff is added here from time to time. The Research section can tell you a bit about the projects I'm working on at the moment. The Papers section has some downloadable instantiations of my work (more stuff is on the way). Check the Fieldwork section to see some languages I've looked at - if you're working on any of them, feel free to email me! The Useful Links section should be self-explanatory.

If you're a prospective student interested in the linguistics program here at Rutgers, you are welcome to ask me any miscellanous questions you might have about the department, the PhD course, graduate student life in New Brunswick, or whatever else.
