Welcome!
Rutgers University’s chapter of the
American Medical Student Association
presents its 4th Annual Pre-Health
Conference. The conference this year
provides an opportunity to explore the
various professions in healthcare. The
conference will allow attendees to
interact with healthcare professionals,
gather information about admissions
processes, and meet other attendees
pursuing the same interests.
The Pre-Health Conference 2012 will be
held on February 4, 2012 at the
Livingston Student Center, Livingston
Campus at Rutgers University – New
Brunswick. Our theme this year is: the Changing Face of
Healthcare: Community,Creativity,
Technology. We believe that
medicine is a dynamic field that
requires a broader understanding of
these three aspects. Our goal is to
assist attendees in realizing the result
of this fluidity on their
profession.
This
event welcomes attendees from all colleges
and universities. Attendees will have the
opportunity to attend workshops that
provide information on standardized tests,
application processes, research
opportunities, different fields in
healthcare, and much more. Later on,
attendees will have a chance to meet
representatives from various health
professional schools, including medical,
dental, nursing, DO, and optometry
schools. Throughout the day, there will
also be various opportunities to get
involved with hands on activities, games
and a lot of fun!
